ALTCINECAM has teased an EVF that will work on brands such as Sony, Canon, Fujifilm, Panasonic LUMIX, Nikon, etc.

Essentially, this is a low-cost DIY 3D printed EVF that you could use on cameras like the Sony FX30/FX2/FX3, Nikon ZR, etc. that don’t have a built-in EVF. You attach it to your camera using the built-in cold shoe mount.
Despite being a DIY project that requires you to have a 3D printer (you get the diplsy and other associated parts in the kit), ALTCINECAM has made it super simple to put together, and it requires no soldering, wiring, or any specialist skills. It clips together, and you put in 4 screws and 1 helicoil insert. It is powered via HDMI.

It will feature a 720p resolution off-the-shelf Micro OLED display, and it has physical dimensions of 70 x 48 x 28mm. ALTCINE CAM states that this is the same display that is already used in some Sony cameras.
The EVF will not work with Blackmagic Design cameras at under 50fps, or with cameras running MagicLantern.
ALTCINECAM will be pricing it at £120, and it should be available soon.
