Blackmagic Design has issued a warning that scammers pretending to be from Blackmagic have been contacting DaVinci Resolve users via email and asking them to click a link.
Blackmagic specifically asks that you do not under any circumstance respond to any email from them that asks you to click on a link.
Fraud alert! Scammers have been contacting DaVinci Resolve users with an email that says they work for Blackmagic Design and are asking them to click a link. These emails are not from Blackmagic Design. Please be safe and don't respond to emails that ask you to click a link.
I did a search, but I couldn’t find any posting on any of the Blackmagic-related forums that mentioned this scam. It is unclear what happens if you do click on the link in the email.
