MotoCrane TITAN LTB & SLC

MotoCrane has announced TITAN LTB, which is essentially a broadcast variant of TITAN LT, that adds Ethernet + Fiber passthrough and Canon + Fujinon servo lens control via the new SLC (Servo Lens Controller accessory).

According to MotoCrane, LTB shares all of the same attributes that have made LT such a popular choice for cinema applications. SLC is compatible with all existing TITAN and LT remote heads, which means existing owners can add new broadcast camera capabilities.

Broadcast remote heads have historically been expensive, specialized systems that are often out of the reach of shows with smaller budgets. According to MotoCrane, the LTB provides a fully featured professional stabilized ecosystem that is available for less than half the cost of competitive options.

LTB at UEFA Champions League

The LTB weighs 18 lbs / 8.16 kg, and it can handle a 40 lb / 18.14 kg payload capacity that allows it to support full-size broadcast camera packages. With its lightweight construction, LTB is also a good match for all broadcast supports like 1D & 3D Cablecams, Wirecams, Spidercams, Technocranes, Jimmy Jibs, Railcam, and Robotic Dolly systems, etc.

It is machined from 6061 aluminum, and it utilizes massive bearings, axles, and hardware. LTB is also IP65-rated with sealed internals and connectors, so the entire system can be operated in continuous rainfall, mud, dirt, snow, etc.

TITAN Controller

The TITAN Controller allows operators to install single, dual, or 3-axis joystick(s) and/or the focus wheel on the right or left-hand side. You can choose between wireless operation (standard 2.4Ghz or LongWave 900Mhz) or the reliability of hardwired control in busy RF environments.

LTB also offers the same complete integration of power, video, and external lens control as LT. The existing built-in 3-channel motor driver is retained for controlling external lens motors from Preston, Heden, Redrock, and MotoCrane. Power is supplied to the camera and accessories via 3x 14.4V and 1x 26V ports, each delivering 150W (300W total) along with 3G-SDI and CAM control. If you require wheel operation, operators can still choose from TITAN Wheels or use the NODO Inertia Wheels.
