Samyang has introduced the AF 60-180mm F2.8 FE that was created through a collaboration between Schneider-Kreuznach and Samyang. The new zoom is claimed to combine outstanding portability and performance.
Key features
- Only 730g
- Constant F2.8 aperture
- Up to 0.26x close-up capability

The AF 60-180mm F2.8 FE now joins the 14-24mm F2.8 and 24-60mm F2.8 to form a three-lens set that covers focal ranges from 14mm up to 180mm.
The lens utilizes a Linear STM floating focus system, and the optical construction of the lens consists of 17 elements in 14 groups. There are also 9 aperture blades.
The AF 60-180mm F2.8 FE has a minimum focusing distance of 35cm / 13.77″, which is impressive for a zoom with this type of focal range.
The lens has a 77mm front filter thread, focus & hold buttons, an AF/MF switch, and a USB port for firmware updates.

It is sealed for use in inclement weather conditions.
Pricing & Availability

I don’t have any USD pricing for the lens just yet. It cost 1,290,000 KRW in South Korea (around $840 USD).
