Nikon NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S with built-in 1.4x teleconverter

NIKON 120 300

Nikon is developing the NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S telephoto zoom lens that features a built-in 1.4x teleconverter. The lens is compatible with full-frame/FX-format mirrorless cameras.

The NIKKOR Z 120-300mm f/2.8 TC VR S features a focal length range of 120mm to 420mm, enabled by a built-in teleconverter that extends its focal length by 1.4x. According to Nikon, this lens will offer excellent optical performance, and it will be suitable for a wide array of applications.

120-300mm is a nice focal range for telephoto work. A traditional 70-200mm, at least in my opinion, doesn’t offer enough range when shooting on a full-frame sensor camera.

There is currently no indication about pricing or availability.
