Tokina have completed a trio of cine style zoom lenses with PL lens mount. Based on the company’s stills lens range they are certainly more affordable than alternatives from lens companies like Cooke, Zeiss or Fujinon. While the optics may remain similar the lens construction is far superior to the still versions due their geared zoom and focus rings with greater focus throws.
It will be interesting to test these out in the future.
