Adobe is bringing its creativity and productivity tools to AI chatbot platforms with the launch of the Adobe Connected App in Gemini, expanding what people can do with Adobe in Claude.
Through a conversation with Gemini, you can call on tools from Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Express, and Firefly to help you enhance photos, create marketing assets, and customize designs. This upcoming launch is the first step to make Adobe’s tools available in Gemini, with additional creative and productivity capabilities planned over time.
Adobe is also significantly expanding its Adobe plugin in Claude, by bringing Acrobat tools to the platform for the first time. The plugin now includes more than 80 tools spanning Acrobat, Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Lightroom, InDesign, Adobe Stock, etc. Adobe is also introducing new interactive editing experiences built around Acrobat and Express tools, so you can move from describing the outcome you want to working hands-on with the result directly inside Claude.
The Adobe plugin now includes popular Acrobat tools for working with PDFs. Users can organize documents by deleting, combining, or splitting pages, redact sensitive information, and convert or export PDFs to other file formats.
You can also open your PDF in the new interactive editor to reorder pages, edit text, or mark up the document with comments and highlights.
A layer-based interactive editor for Express designs provides you with control over individual elements of the design.
Adobe in Gemini is rolling out globally beginning today and is available across all Gemini plans. To get started, navigate to Personal Intelligence, select Adobe under connected apps, and sign in with your Adobe account or create one for free if you don’t already have one.
Adobe for Claude is also rolling out globally starting today across Claude and Claude Code on desktop, mobile, and web. You can get started as a guest or sign in with your Adobe account to unlock the full plugin experience. If you already have the previous Adobe connector installed, it will automatically update to the new Adobe plugin.
