At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, Godox was showing a prototype of its upcoming MG6KR. This is essentially a full-color version of the existing MG6K.
The light draws 5100W, and it is claimed to have the equivalent output of a 6K HMI. It is Godox’s brightest full-color fixture to date.

Even though it draws 5100W, you can still use it from a household outlet by lowering the power output.

Natively, the light has a 110-degree beam angle, and there are 15- and 25-degree reflectors.
The light is CCT-adjustable between 2500K and 10,000K, and it has all the usual operating modes that you would find in other Godox full color fixtures.

The MG6KR weighs in at 25kg, and the power supply/controller is 15kg.
