Atomos introduced the Shogun AV-19M at IBC 2026. A monitor-only sibling to the Shogun AV-19 announced at NAB 2026, built for customers who wanted the same rack-mount panel without onboard recording or switching. We caught up with Atomos on the show floor for a closer look.

PTZ and cross-brand compatibility
Atomos demoed the AV-19M running alongside PTZ cameras from other manufacturers, including a Z CAM unit, on the same NDI network. Because NDI and standard PTZ control protocols are shared across brands, the monitor isn’t locked to Atomos gear — it’s built to sit in a mixed-vendor NDI infrastructure rather than a closed one.
Calibration
The panel supports third-party display calibration. Atomos said compatible calibrators range from roughly $200 consumer units up to $20,000 professional references, so the calibration path scales with the facility rather than requiring a specific proprietary tool.
