Accsoon has announced Adobe Frame.io integration for the CineView M7 series. This makes it the first Android-based wireless production monitor platform to integrate a native Frame.io workflow directly into the monitor.
The update turns the CineView M7 series into a more versatile solution that is now capable of on-set capture and cloud-based review. It gives users a faster way to upload, review, and share footage.
Built on an Android smart system, the CineView M7 series can run apps, receive OTA updates, and gain new capabilities over time instead of being limited to the features it shipped with. It brings together wireless camera control, integrated recording, livestreaming, cloud upload, and compatibility across Accsoon’s wireless video ecosystem.
The new Frame.io integration on the CineView M7 series introduces a full upload task pipeline. Users now get a dedicated tab for ongoing and pending uploads, as well as a separate upload history tab.
This makes it easier to check upload progress, confirm completed transfers, and retry failed uploads without leaving the monitoring workflow.
What is nice is that Accsoon has also added automatic resume support for Frame.io uploads. If the system detects a Wi-Fi dropout or an interruption to internet access, upload tasks are retained and can automatically resume once connectivity is restored. This is an important addition for real-world production environments, where network stability can vary dramatically between studio, location, mobile, and event-based shoots.
Accsoon states that the latest Frame.io implementation has been tested extensively during development against common interruption scenarios, including network loss, connectivity recovery, authentication refreshes, app restarts, and failed uploads. Accsoon wanted the Frame.io integration to be reliable enough for actual on-set use, even when connectivity is less than ideal.
The CineView M7 series was built around a concpt of once an image reaches the monitor, users need to do more than just view it. The series already brings together wireless video transmission, monitoring, recording, playback, livestreaming, camera control, and compatibility across Accsoon’s wireless video ecosystem in a compact on-set tool. For anyone working under tight schedules, this matters because it removes steps from the set-to-cloud process. Footage can be uploaded, reviewed, shared, and acted on more quickly. This is especially useful in helping crews get feedback quickly after capture.
The new CineView M7 series firmware update, including Adobe Frame.io integration, is now available for download:
- Step 1: Update the device to the latest firmware. If the unit is already running the latest firmware, you can skip this step.
- Step 2: Set the M7 series device to “Monitor” mode, then connect it to your router via Wi-Fi and make sure the device has internet access.
- Step 3: Open the Accsoon SEE app. The app will automatically detect whether an update is available.
