SmallRig has a new Camera Cage Kit for Sony FX6. It might seem strange to release a camera cage for a camera that has been on the market for almost 6 years, but the FX6 is still a very popular choice and widely used. The new kit is essentially an updated replacement for the Cage Kit for Sony FX6 that has now been discontinued.

The SmallRig Camera Cage Kit features a modular design that allows you to create a custom rig when using a wide array of accessories.
The kit’s main components include a top plate, two right-side plates, a left-side NATO rail, and a baseplate. All of these feature multiple 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads for mounting accessories.
The side handle adapter allows you to reposition the camera’s native side handle vertically. A cold shoe mount and cable clamp offer additional mounting and security to your rig.
There is also a V-mount battery plate, a V-mount battery plate adapter, a D-Tap to DC power cable, and an extension cable route power to your on-camera monitor, wireless system, or transmission system.
