Ancient Optics has added the PETZVALUX 21mm T1.9 to its set. This is the widest lens in the set, which now includes 21, 27, 38, 44, 55, 66, 80, and 120. The 21mm covers Full Frame/LF/VV sensors. You can still tune the lens using the control ring to dial in bokeh, spherical aberration, and field curvature on the fly, shot by shot.
Ancient Optics collaborated with Lomography to bring Petzval’s legacy to the world of cinematography. The lenses feature signature swirling bokeh, and they incorporate a unique tuning ring called “Bokeh Control,” originally developed by Lomography. This allows you to dial in your own look on set with strength adjustments measured from 1 to 7.
All the focal lengths share the same Lomography Petzval DNA, so characteristics like center sharpness, field distortion, color rendition, and flare qualities remain consistent from one lens to the next. All lenses have 330-degree focus rotation, 15-blade circular iris, and stainless steel LPL mounts.
