At Cine Gear 2025 in Los Angeles, Woodden Camera was showing its new Elite Accessory System for Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K/17K.
The Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K/17K accessory system compliments the design and adds features to efficiently build out the camera without impeding on ports or usability.
Riser Plate and ARCA Base Plate
This system starts with a Riser Plate and ARCA Base Plate that keeps your build at the appropriate optical height for mounting accessories in traditional cinema workflows. The Riser Plate facilitates an open design, allowing efficient airflow to the camera. These plates combined are compatible with any bridge plates that use ARRI Standard height. Utilizing the built-in ARCA system, it allows for quick transitions between Steadicam, shoulder, or tripod workflows with Wooden Camera ARCA accessories.
Top Plate System
To enhance the capabilities of the camera, a Top Plate emphasizing air flow and connectivity is secured to the top of the camera via three ¼”-20 screws along the camera’s center mounting points. In addition, a removable 15mm Dual rod clamp allows users to connect items like the Blackmagic EVF or additional 3rd party accessories. The design includes a removable rear extension for additional connecting points to the top plate. This Top Plate is compatible with the stock Blackmagic URSA handle.
Ultra Handle
This system also includes an Ultra Handle that allows users to securely hold on to your camera and adds mounting options for additional accessories.

D-Box System for Blackmagic URSA Cine 12K/17K
Add power and mounting options to the camera and your accessories with this 26V Gold Mount Plus D-Box and Wedge. With the included wedge, it mounts directly to the back of the camera and sets the camera’s battery plate perpendicular to the camera, allowing the D-Box to mount battery plate accessories in line with your camera setup. In addition, ¼”-20 and ⅜”-16 mounting points are added to the top of the wedge for mounting accessories to the build.
The D-Box was designed as a one-stop shop, providing power options for on-board accessories. Included options on this D-Box are:
Two 2-pin 12V – 5.8A (shared over all 12V outputs)
Two D-tap ports
Two 3-pin 24V – 3.8A (shared over all 24V outputs) without trigger
Other notable features:
The D-Box offers hot-swappable power for on-board batteries when DC-In power is connected via the 8-pin connector like our 3-pin to 8-pin Power Cable. To make a connection directly to the camera, this plate utilizes a Molex connector on the back of the plate for a seamless connection to the camera. Incorporated within this plate is a self resetting electronic fuse inside the plate.
The design of the wedge accents the camera’s body design and places the battery perpendicular to the camera. This battery plate is compatible with the 26V Gold Mount Plus Batteries from Anton Bauer.
