The TASCAM Audio File Manager is audio file management software with editing functions such as waveform display on file lists, batch renaming of multiple files, and partial cutting.
It enables fast confirmation of recorded material and supports smooth transition to production work with NLE (non-linear editing software) and DAW.
In addition to file management, the software also includes simple editing functions such as normalizing data recorded in 32-bit float and cutting silence. In addition, it supports multitrack playback of audio recorded with a TASCAM multitrack recorder.

Rename function to change multiple file names at once
You can rename not only single file names, but also multiple file names in a batch. Since any character can be added to the beginning of a file name or a specific character can be replaced with any character, it is useful for managing files by changing them to match the scene or title, marking OK takes, etc.
Editing functions such as cutting and normalizing
In addition to basic editing functions such as cut, copy/paste, and mute, normalize can be used to adjust the level to the desired level. 32-bit float recordings with seemingly broken sound can be easily adjusted to a level where the waveform peaks are visible.

The contents of cloud storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and AWS storage can be displayed in a list.
Multi-track playback
Supports multi-track playback of multi-mono files recorded with TASCAM’s multi-track recorders such as Portacapture series, Model series, and DA-6400. A built-in mixer with mute, pan, and fader level control is also available for mix balancing.
