The COLBOR CL220R RGB COB LED is a 250W highest-powered RGB Bowens Mount COB light. It can display up to 3,600,000 colors, along with a wide spectrum of lighting effects, and it comes in an ultra-compact aluminum alloy body.

The light has an adjustable CCT range of 2700K to 6500K and it allows for +/- G/M adjustment.

The claimed output when used open face is 7260 lux @1m / 3.3′. With the included reflector the claimed output is 31,400 lux at the same distance. The beam angle when using the light open face is 120°. With the standard reflector, it is 45°.

According to COLBOR, the light features an all-new algorithm, that even at maximum output, is claimed to allow the fixture to maintain consistent brightness across its entire spectrum of colors.

The CL220R weighs 3.5 lb / 1.6 kg, and it features an aluminum alloy build that allows for efficient heat dissipation. COLBOR is also using what they refer to as the Hummingbird-Intelligence Cooling System. The company also claims that the fan noise is just under 30 dB.

The CL220R comes with a built-in NATO rail for adding accessories or it can also be used for rigging multiple COLBOR lights together.

The fixture can be powered by its included 110 to 240 VAC power supply, or via a 14.8V V-mount battery using the VM3 V-mount adapter. You can power it via a single V-mount battery, however, it can also be powered by two.

The CL220R has onboard controls, but it can also be controlled via the COLBOR Light App. With the Matrix Control System, you can create a Light Neural Network for control from up to 492 feet.

Price & Availability

There is no pricing available yet, but the Bi-Color version of the light retails for under $250 USD.
