The Synco WMic-TS Mini is a 1-to-1 UHF wireless microphone. Essentially it is a smaller single TX version of the WMic-TS, hence the name Mini.
The WMic-TS Mini was designed to be an affordable UHF wireless microphone system for recording dialogue, interviews, etc. for small crews and solo operators.
Operating Range
The WMic-TS Mini utilizes what Synco refers to as Wireless LinkLable technology. The inbuilt smart chip is claimed to be able to automatically select the best and cleanest channel. The claimed operating range is 492ft/150m (line-of-sight) to 262ft/80m (non-line-of-sight).
The Synco WMic-TS Mini also features foldable antennas.
Selectable Output Power
The output power can be set between high/ low, automatic. The High output helps this UHF wireless microphone to overcome interference in busy radio frequency conditions or when long distance recording is required. The”Low” setting allows the mic to work over short-range distances while also saving battery power.
Other Features
There is an OLED screen for setup and adjustment and a detachable shoe mount. A 2-in-1 quick charger allows you to fully charge the kit in 3-hours. The internal 300mAh Li-ion battery supports up to 8.5-hours of continual use.
The kit includes cables that allow you to connect your wireless microphone receiver to any 3.5mm input DSLR/mirrorless, camcorder, or recording device.
