Ikan is bringing out a hard-wired focus and iris control system reminiscent of studio lens controllers for broadcast. With a sturdy aluminum handgrip with thumb controller on a rosette and the focus motor on a rod under the lens, you can set up either a shoulder rig or tripod rig with the new controller.
It will be available in a few months. The price has not been set but will be in the neighborhood of $1000 USD.
