FUJIFILM has raised prices on select digital cameras and interchangeable lenses, citing increased costs in materials, manufacturing, and shipping.
Here is what was said in the official press release:
To Our Valued Customers
We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your continued support of Fujifilm products.
Fujifilm Imaging Systems Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koji Matsumoto) will implement price adjustments for select digital cameras, interchangeable lenses, instant cameras, and smartphone printers effective Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Amid the recent surge in component, manufacturing, and logistics costs, we have made every effort to absorb these increases through measures such as improving production efficiency and reducing expenses. However, as it has become difficult to absorb these costs through corporate efforts alone, we will be implementing the price adjustments detailed below.
We kindly ask for your understanding and patience regarding this matter.
We look forward to your continued support of Fujifilm products.

Given the current political and economic situation both in Japan and internationally, it’s highly likely that prices will continue to rise periodically.
In Japan, prices have roughly increased by the following amounts:
| INCREASE | |
| GFX100 II | 15% |
| GFX100S II | 14% |
| GFX100RF | 14% |
| X-T50 | 7% |
| X-T50 XC15-45mmF3.5-5.6 OIS PZ | 7% |
| X-E5 | 7% |
| X-E5 XF23mmF2.8 R WR | 7% |
| X100VI | 12% |
| XF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR | 12% |
I would expect to see these price increases reflected around the world soon.
