At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, NEEWER was showing its new PS099U 99Wh V-Mount Battery with Smart APP Control.
The PS099U features two-way 100W PD and wireless charging with PD 3.1, QC 2.0/3.0, DCP, and dual USB-C two-way 100W PD fast charging. It can be recharged in about 2 hours with a 100W or higher charger.
It is compatible with MagSafe 15W and Qi 10W wireless charging, so you can charge your iPhone, etc.
There are dual USB-C, USB-A, DC 8V, DC 12V, BP, and D-Tap ports to power cameras, phones, tablets, laptops, lights, and monitors from one backup battery power supply. It is compatible with Sony, Canon, Nikon, and other cameras, with 1/4″ and 3/8″ threads for flexible rigging with ball heads, clamps, and mounting accessories
The battery has smart App control and BMS, so users can check real-time battery level, port status, and input/output power in the NEEWER app. Smart BMS helps protect rechargeable batteries from overheating, overdischarge, overvoltage, short circuit, overcharge, and overcurrent
A built-in 3W LED light offers High, Low, and SOS modes for temporary fill light in dark scenes or emergency signaling. The OLED screen shows battery level and port status for camera battery monitoring while filming
The battery has physical dimensions of 4.2 x 2.9 x 2.4 in / 107 x 74 x 61mm and it weighs 1.45lb / 657g. It also meets TSA carry-on rules (<100Wh).
