MID49 has a new PIXBOOM Spark Power Distribution Box DB-14 that is available in V-mount or Gold Mount, as well as a Baseline 15mm LW.
The PIXBOOM Spark doesn’t have a lot of inputs or outputs, and if you need to power accessories, there are limited options.
Power Distribution Box DB-14 $895 USD
The PIXBOOM Spark Power Distribution Box DB-14 attaches directly to the back of the camera body using either the V-Mount or Gold Mount interface (depending on the version you choose) to provide intelligent power distribution with D-Taps, 5V USB-C PD, 3-pin Fischers, and 2-pin LEMO-compatible connectors. Removable EXT cable enables remote start/stop capability using 3-pin Fischer devices. When using communicative batteries, data is converted to SMBus and sent to the camera, enabling percentage data on the monitor.
Hot swap between onboard battery and 4-pin XLR DC INPUT without losing camera or accessory power. When both sources are connected, the DC INPUT takes priority down to 12.5V at which point the DB-8 will switch to an onboard battery.
With the SMART FUSE design, camera power is monitored, and the remaining power budget is allocated to accessories. For example, the Spark uses approximately 2.8A at 14V, so when using a 10A-capable battery, the remaining 6.2A is allocated for accessory use. If an accessory configuration exceeds the 6.2A limit, accessory power is cut off, leaving the camera powered. The “SMART FUSE” LED will illuminate, showing the error and once the configuration has been adjusted to lower than 6.2A, the RESET button can be pressed, and power will be re-enabled to accessory outputs.
In the event of a complete short circuit, the system will immediately shut down and can only be turned back on once the short circuit has been removed.

INPUTS
BATT V-Mount plate or Gold Mount plate with SMBus communication
DC IN 4pin XLR (11-17V)
OUTPUTS
2x D-Tap (battery voltage)
2x 3pin (24V at 2.5A with run/stop)
2x 2pin (battery voltage)
1x USB-C PD (5V at 3A with thread lock)
Tilta Warning: When using a Tilta Nucleus lens control system, only one 3-pin Fischer cable is required. Do not use an additional power cable. Due to Tilta’s design error, the Nucleus motors will short-circuit 24V and 12V, causing damage to the camera, power distribution PCB, and possibly other devices connected.

Baseline 15mm LW (PIXBOOM Spark) $495 USD
The Baseline 15mm LW (Pixboom Spark) is a baseplate that holds 15mm lightweight rods at the correct distance from the center of the lens.
An ARRI dovetail slot on the bottom attaches to the included Baseline ARRI Dovetail or other ARRI standard dovetails using a top-load locking mechanism. Loosen the thumbscrew and push the silver button on the operator’s side to release the baseplate from the ARRI dovetail. To reattach, drop down and listen for the pop to know it has engaged. Adjust the position on the ARRI dovetail, then lock the ratcheting thumbscrew.
Baseline ARRI Dovetail is the included lower ARRI mounting plate, which can attach to tripod plates using 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 screws or ARRI standard bridgeplates with centered or offset screw spacing.
ARCA dovetail slot on top holds the included ARCA Dovetail and can be top-loaded or installed from the back by sliding in. When sliding in from the back, a safety pin will engage with a pop when properly installed. Adjust the position, then lock the ratcheting thumbscrew. Top-loading can be achieved by loosening the thumbscrew, pulling out on the ratcheting knob, and turning the thumbscrew until the ARCA clamp has opened fully. Reverse the process to tighten.
The center screw slot on the ARCA Dovetail accepts 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting screws, and the vertical rod hole clamps include 1/4-20 lens support posts for adaptors like Metabones, etc.
