ARRI is conducting a live webinar called “Inside the ARRI Lens Multiverse: A Cinema Optics Masterclass” with Art Adams, DP, writer, educator, and Lens Product Specialist for ARRI Americas. It will take place on Wednesday, August 5th, 2026, 12 pm PST / 3 pm EST.
Drawing on years of hands-on testing and real-world experience, Art will break down the characteristics, design philosophies, and practical applications of ARRI’s lens families.
Through lens test material and examples from film and television, the webinar is designed so that you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how optics shape the cinematic image.
You will get the chance to see comparisons of the ARRI Signature Primes, Signature Zooms, Ensō Primes, and classic Ultra Primes, alongside lenses outside the ARRI ecosystem. The webinar will go on to explore key optical characteristics of these lenses, such as bokeh, focus falloff, flare behavior, skin tone rendition, filters, additional optics, adapters, etc. The session will also examine how ARRI lenses perform on a variety of camera systems, including ARRI, SONY, and RED.
