Keychron has announced its new Thunderbolt 5 Dock. It features 14-in-1 expansion, up to 80Gbps bidirectional bandwidth with Bandwidth Boost up to 120Gbps, dual 8K display support, 140W laptop charging, and a fanless all-aluminum design.

The dock was designed for worldwide use with a universal 100–240V AC input, supporting both region-specific IEC C7 power cords and compatible travel adapters.

Equipped with three 80Gbps bidirectional Thunderbolt 5 ports, this dock delivers double the performance of Thunderbolt 4. There is also something called Bandwidth Boost, which is claimed to reach up to 120Gbps (Thunderbolt 5 upstream only) for video-intensive workflows.

The dock features five USB ports with up to 10Gbps transfer speeds.

Users can charge their laptop at up to 140W through the Thunderbolt 5 upstream port, making it compatible with laptops like the 16″ MacBook Pro with M3, M4, or M5 Pro/Max chips. The downstream Thunderbolt 5 ports support up to 30W and 15W output. It is important to note that the dock requires the included 180W power adapter connected to its DC input to work.

The company claims that the fanless, all-aluminum design delivers passive heat dissipation with zero operational noise and zero RGB light pollution.
