Ignite Digi has a new KEYSTONE cage for the PIXBOOM Spark. KEYSTONE allows users to integrate accessories like power breakouts, side plates, and lens supports while protecting the camera body.
Ignite Digi took what they learnt from KEYSTONE for KOMODO and designed a similar ultra-strong, lightweight cage. For the PIXBOOM Spark version, they dropped the cold shoe mounts.
KEYSTONE features a rigid, single-billet aluminum frame with ARRI-standard mounting holes, designed to make vertical shooting and gimbal balancing easier. It also allows you to utilize larger servo lenses, including power and control integration via Ignite Digi’s Fusion Hub and Servo Link.
KEYSTONE (140 x 140mm) is symmetrical, and it positions the Spark so that the sensor is perfectly centred inside the cage, making it a good solution for landscape and portrait orientations, and rigging flexibility for cinema robots,
There are twelve 3/8″-16 Pin-Locks and three 1/4″-20 Pin-Locks based on the ARRI interfaces standard. Users can mount dovetail plates, rod mounts, rosette handgrips, transmitters, monitors, Power Breakouts, and MDRs.
As KEYSTONE was designed as a square cage, it makes it easy to transition to a vertical or horizontal setup. Because KEYSTONE maintains consistent height and width, you can easily rotate the entire camera assembly 90 degrees without needing to completely rebuild your rig. Since the frame features the same mounting holes on its sides, top, and bottom, you can maintain a clean, organized rig by moving accessories like your monitor or wireless transmission system to the desired orientation, which is handy.
Additionally, if you are using gimbals like the Movi Pro or DJI Ronin 2, which often pose significant mounting challenges when turned on their side, KEYSTONE keeps the camera body stable and allows for easier rod mount management
