Blazar Lens has introduced the Remus II series, the next iteration of their full-frame 1.5x anamorphic primes.

The lenses feature an all-new oval iris from their Mantis design, and they are claimed to be sharper. According to Blazar Lens, this results in a more oval bokeh and more refined flare.
At this stage, there is only a 50mm available that has a T2.4 aperture. The lenses will also come in a gold metal finish and have fully interchangeable PL and EF mounts.

The 50mm T2.4 weighs 1.57lb / 716g and it has an 80 mm front diameter. The lens has 16 aperture blades and a close focus ability of 2.42ft / 0.74m.
I would expect that there will be quite a few more focal lengths added to the series moving forward.
With so many affordably priced anamorphics on the market, Blazar Lens is facing very stiff competition from companies such as DZOFilm and SIRUI.
