At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, SmallRig was showing its upcoming FM 60B Umbrella Light, which features a patented lamp‑body opening‑closing and quick‑release panel structure with an all‑in‑one umbrella‑light design.
The all‑in‑one design combines the softbox and light fixture. When folded for transportation or storage, it is 42cm long, and it weighs 1.5kg / 3.3 lbs. Despite the all-in-one design, you still need to attach a separate power supply/controller.
The FM 60B Umbrella Light was designed for fast setup, and it would be suitable for run-and-gun applications and for shooters who are travelling with minimal kit.

There will be multiple mounting options available.
It supports NFC one‑tap APP wireless connection plus there is a separate control box that features a 2.4‑inch display.
The light works with a USB‑C PD power supply, and there is also a V‑mount battery plate. Additionally, it works with NP‑F batteries via an adapter plate. The light draws 60W.
