Desview Core OL Series High-Bright Multiview Production Monitors First Look at IBC 2026

At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, Desview was showing its new Core OL Series High-Bright Multiview Production Monitors, which are claimed to deliver measurable improvements in color accuracy, performance, and workflow efficiency.

The new series consists of the following models:

Core OL16 Max & Core OL16 Ultra 12G

The Core OL16 Max and Core OL16 Ultra 12G feature a 16-inch AMOLED ultra-clear display, 3840×2400 (4K) resolution, 16:10 professional aspect ratio, and 331 PPI.

Desview Core OL16 Ultra Key Features

They have 400 nits typical brightness, 1200 nits peak brightness, 100,000:1 ultra-high contrast ratio, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and 10-bit color depth (1.074 billion colors). Additionally, they provide a 170-degree wide viewing angle and a 60 Hz refresh rate.

The OL16 Ultra 12G features 4x 12G-SDI inputs/outputs to support native uncompressed 4K UHD 4:4:4 RGB HDR video with embedded audio and LTC timecode for use in high-end film, broadcast, and 4K/8K production workflows. There is also 1x HDMI input and 1x HDMI loop-out with full 4K 60Hz signal support for daisy-chaining additional monitors. The Core OL16 Max has 4x 3G-SDI, 1x HDMI in, and 1x HDMI loop-out.

USB

Additionally, there is a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack, dual speakers, TALLY indicator, and USB port that supports firmware updates and LUT import. For powering thee is also a detachable V-mount battery plate.

The monitors support long-distance monitoring in studios, OB vans, large-scale events, etc. It can handle cable runs in the10 km or 20 km range depending on the fiber cable being used.

Waveform

As far as monitoring assist tools go, there is a waveform, histogram, vectorscope, zebra, false color, monochrome display, safe frames, multi-ratio composition guides, guide lines, grid lines, freeze/flip, timecode display, and anamorphic de-squeeze (1.33x, 1.60x, and 2.00x, plus a fully adjustable custom ratio from 1.2x to 2.0x). The monitor also supports 16:9, 16:10, 15:9, 4:3, 15:10, 2:1, 2.235:1, 2.39:1, and 2.4:1, plus custom aspect ratios with independent width and height adjustment (0-100%).

Multiview Lut

Multi-view monitoring supports picture-in-picture, dual-view, and quad-view split screens; 8K mode (supports four 4K feeds). There is also a Per-window LUT when using multi-view mode: single-view, dual-view, and picture-in-picture windows.

There are customizable F1-F6 physical shortcut keys for efficient operation, a multi-language system, and adjustable OSD parameters.

DC Output

The monitors support dual power inputs. You can use an XLR-type DC input (12-24V) and a 5.5-2.1mm threaded DC input. There are also power outputs, including 3x 5.5-2.1mm threaded DC 12V outputs that can power cameras, wireless video transmitters, microphones, and other peripherals simultaneously.

The Core OL16 Max and Core OL16 Ultra 12G weigh 4.2 kg / 9.25 lbs and are designed using an aerospace-grade aluminum unibody chassis. The monitors have a claime temperature operating range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius, and a storage range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius.

Core OL14 Pro

The Core OL14 Pro features a 15-inch AMOLED display, 1920×1080 (1080p) resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, and 165 PPI. It is claimed to have 400 nits typical brightness, 1200 nits peak brightness, 100,000:1 ultra-high contrast ratio, 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and 10-bit color depth (1.074 billion colors). Additionally, it supports a 170-degree wide viewing angle and a 60Hz refresh rate.

The monitor has 3x 3G-SDI inputs/outputs supporting 1080p 60Hz, and 2x HDMI inputs and 1x HDMI output with full 4K 60Hz input/output. Multiple video sources can be connected simultaneously for multi-camera monitoring. Additionally, there is also a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, TALLY indicator, dual 8 Ω 2W speakers, and a USB port that supports firmware updates and LUT import. There is also a V-mount battery plate slot (interchangeable with an Anton Bauer mount).

Waveform 1

As far as monitoring assist tools go, there is a waveform, histogram, vectorscope, zebra, false color, monochrome display, safe frames, multi-ratio composition guides, guide lines, grid lines, freeze/flip, timecode display, and anamorphic de-squeeze (1.33x, 1.60x, and 2.00x, plus a fully adjustable custom ratio from 1.2x to 2.0x).
