Deity recently introduced the PR-4, a compact 6-track field recorder designed specifically for small bag setups. It is claimed to integrate modern professional features into an ergonomic, travel-friendly package, making it a versatile tool for sound mixers working on various scales of production.

Ergonomics & Interface- The PR4 is optimized for bag use with top-mounted controls. It features a daylight-bright, high-resolution color screen that doubles as a touchscreen for gesture-based navigation (swiping for menus) and quick input adjustments.
Power Management- In addition to an internal NP-F battery, the unit supports external power via a 4-pin push-pull connector and USB-C. It intelligently hot-swaps between these sources.
Wireless Connectivity- With built-in Bluetooth, the PR-4 integrates with the Situs Audio App for remote control. It also serves as a wireless timecode master, capable of transmitting timecode natively to other Deity timecode boxes, slates, and recorders.
