This is a much better way of doing timecode when using Zoom recorders than the previous method that required the Zoom BTA-1 Bluetooth Adapter.

As I mentioned earlier, it is built around a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO), so it will maintain accuracy within 0.5 frames over 24 hours. Timecode simplifies your editing workflow by keeping audio and video automatically aligned. Instead of spending time matching waveforms or fixing drift, you can move straight into editing, speeding up turnaround and reducing the chance of sync errors.
The TCA-1 is compatible with the following ZOOM recorders:
- H6studio
- H5studio
- H6essential
- H4essential
- H2essential
- F3
