At NAB 2026 in Las Vegas, Godox was showing its upcoming AM800R 4′ x 4′ light. This is similar to the popular FS800, but it is an inflatable airframe version.
The light came about due to customer feedback, where users were requesting something that could be set up faster. The airframe can stay inflated for up to 14 days.

The AM800R has a CCT range of 1800-10,000K CCT and full RGBW capabilities. It draws 900W.

The light comes with two different types of diffusion depending on your application, as well as a honeycomb grid.
The airframe breaks down to a very compact size for transportation and storage, and because the light is inflatable, it can also be mounted in a variety of different ways.
The light is IP65 rated, so it can be used in inclement weather conditions.
Pricing & Availability
The Godox AM800R will retail for around $4,000 USD, and it should be available in late June.
