At NAB 2026 in Las Vegas, Godox unveiled its new lighting color engine called PaletteLab and 5 new lights. According to Godox, PaletteLab delivers full-spectrum performance across the entire visible wavelength range. PaletteLab is made up of 9 separate color diodes.
It is good to see Godox introducing a new color engine that competes with other advanced color engines that have come to market in the last few years.
Built upon in-depth spectral analysis of natural daylight, PaletteLab is said to reconstruct a light spectrum that closely replicates real sunlight. This results in a highly natural lighting output.
One of the key innovations is its ability to eliminate spectral gaps. Godox states that, through advanced Multispectral Optical Coupling Technology, PaletteLab optimizes continuity across the full visible spectrum. By refining transitions from blue to cyan and from orange-red to deep red, the system is claimed to achieve exceptional spectral consistency.
Godod has introduced 5 new lights that utilize the PaletteLab lighting engine:

- Godox SL300RF
- Godox SL200RF
- Godox ML150RF
According to Godox, these lights all feature brand new designs.
PaletteLab is claimed to produce high SSI values of 92 and 87, with near-perfect TM-30 RF of 97 and CRI R9 of 99.
