If you are an iPhone filmaker you are going to like this new Tilta Krones Cine. It basically makes using a PL Mount lens compatible with an iPhone.
Inside the milled bow is s glass element that is designed to make lens that is attached work with iPhone. The Tilta Krones cage for iPhone is needed to work with the Krones Cine system.
The Krones Cine also has a lot of mounting points so you can build it out and make it look and feel more like a traditional small box steyle cinema camera.
For now Tilta is only making a PL version and may make other mounts in the future. They want to focus more on the cinema stsye lenses for the Krones Cine.
It also fits into the Krones ecosystem so you can use the base plate and rails and other mounting and adpaters.
Pricing and Avalability
Pricing is still being set however, it’s estimated around $500 and avaible in the third quarter of 2026
