If you are an iPhone filmaker you are going to like this new Tilta Khronos Cine. It basically makes using a PL Mount lens compatible with an iPhone.
Inside the milled bow is s glass element that is designed to make lens that is attached work with iPhone. The Tilta Khronos cage for iPhone is needed to work with the Khronos Cine system.
The Khronos Cine also has a lot of mounting points so you can build it out and make it look and feel more like a traditional small box style cinema camera.
For now Tilta is only making a PL version and may make other mounts in the future. They want to focus more on the cinema style lenses for the Khronos Cine.
It also fits into the Krones ecosystem so you can use the base plate and rails and other mounting and adpaters.
Pricing and Avalability
Pricing is still being set however, it’s estimated around $500 USD and available in the third quarter of 2026.
