Nikon has teased its upcoming NIKKOR ZCINEMA Cine Lenses with a short video. The video doesn’t show much, and there are no further details about focal lengths or any specifications.
The only small hint is that it does clearly show an AF/MF switch, suggesting that the lenses may be more of hybrid video/stills lenses than true cine lenses. Nikon could be following in the footsteps of Sigma.
Hopefully, there are other versions that don’t feature AF/MF capabilities, as I think that is arguably what a lot of people are looking for.
