EIZO has announced its new ColorEdge CS3200X, a 31.5-inch 4K UHD color management monitor that could be used for anything from video and HDR production to photography.

The CS3200X is the first 31.5-inch 4K model in the ColorEdge CS Series, and it features a 3840 x 2160 resolution screen that has 99% Adobe RGB and 96% DCI-P3 coverage. The monitor has a claimed brightness of 350 cd/m2 and a pixel density of 140 ppi.
Its 10‑bit display performance, powered by a 16‑bit LUT, is claimed to produce exceptionally smooth gradations and allows the monitor render more than a billion tones with fine accuracy.
According to EIZO, every unit is individually factory‑adjusted so gamma behavior remains consistent and predictable out of the box. A Factory Report is included with each CS3200X, detailing uniformity, gamma, gamut coverage, and color temperature measurements to verify the accuracy of the monitor you receive.
The monitor supports both industry‑standard transfer functions – Hybrid Log‑Gamma (HLG) for broadcast and Perceptual Quantization (PQ) for film and streaming production.
The new 3‑sided frameless design minimizes borders to bring a more modern aesthetic. The monitor also provides fanless, noiseless operation.
A single USB Type-C transmits video signal, USB data, and up to 70 W of power delivery.
The monitor is also equipped with DisplayPort and HDMI inputs. 4 USB Type-A ports are available for connecting peripherals.
You can calibrate the monitor using ColorNavigator 7, which is EIZO’s dedicated color management software for maintaining color precision on your ColorEdge monitor. A dedicated calibration sensor is available as an optional accessory for intuitive and reliable calibration.
