The Behringer FLOW 4V is a 10-track all-in-one field recorder made for content creators and videographers. Designed and engineered by the German team behind X32 and WING, it was designed to capture flawless multi-track audio with timecode.
FLOW 4V starts and stops recording with your camera, embeds timecode for instant alignment in post, and delivers a clean stereo mix for fast uploads or live streaming. Plug it into your computer, and it becomes a powerful 12-in / 2-out USB audio interface. Ready to stream, record, or both.
It features 4 dual-gain mic preamps, dual-stage A/D converters, an extreme 142 dB of dynamic range, real 32-bit float recording, and optional expansion via FLOW 4VIO.
The Behringer FLOW 4V sort of reminds me of the TASCAM DR/FR field recorder series, but it is not a clone of those or any of the ZOOM products.

Timecode

USB Audio Interface
FLOW 4V is a full-featured USB audio interface with 12 input channels and 2 outputs.
USB Recording & Backup
You can record directly to the onboard SD card or straight to your computer. When recording to SD, FLOW 4V can also automatically create a backup copy to a USB drive after every take or work as a USB audio interface at the same time.
USB Power
Two recessed USB-C ports provide redundant, hot-swappable power from any USB-PD source, including power banks. A compatible power supply is included.
Mounting
The Flow 4V can attach to cameras and tripods via a 1/4-20 integrated thread.
Optional FLOW 4VIO
The optional FLOW 4VIO expands your setup with four additional dual-stage microphone preamps and two independent headphone outputs. One single cable keeps everything connected.
StageConnect
StageConnect is a professional digital connection designed to simplify complex setups. It carries uncompressed audio, clock, control data, and power over a single cable.
