Atomos has announced that Ninja TX and Ninja TX GO can now record external Open Gate 48P RAW from the FUJIFILM GFX ETERNA 55. This free update makes the Ninja TX series a good companion for FUJIFILM’s first large‑sensor cinema camera.
With this release, you can now record 4:3 Open Gate 4K RAW at up to 48fps over HDMI, and up to 29.97fps over SDI. By capturing the camera’s full sensor readout, you retain the complete native dynamic range and colour fidelity of the large-format sensor.
Camera control, which lets you adjust key settings, including ISO, shutter, and white balance, and start/stop recording directly from the monitor’s touchscreen, will be coming with a further firmware update early in 2026.
Firmware 12.2.1 for Ninja TX and Ninja TX GO is available now as an over-the-air update, or it can be downloaded from the Atomos website.
