The latest generations of Android phones and tablets feature clear, bright displays that rival, or even surpass, those of dedicated on-camera monitors. Using the free Accsoon See App with the SeeMo 4K HDMI for Android enables these displays to be used to their full potential for monitoring camera images and analysing them. The App has a newly redesigned, modern look. It features a full suite of on-screen touch-controlled tools, including waveform, histogram, LUTs, focus peaking, false color, zebras, audio level meters, mirror image, image overlay, grid lines, and even anamorphic desqueeze.

In addition, the SeeMo 4K HDMI for Android features the ability to apply a creative LUT for viewing, which can also be ‘burned’ directly into the recorded or streamed footage. This is especially useful when shooting Log footage internally on a camera, while at the same time ‘burning’ a look to streams, or recordings for immediate upload.

The SeeMo 4K for Android is a reliable, low-latency, fully featured, high-accuracy monitoring and recording solution. It provides an alternative to other apps and inexpensive HDMI dongles, which can suffer from latency, resolution, or connectivity issues.

With the SeeMo 4K for Android, users can stream UHD 4K video from their 4K camera to YouTube and other popular video platforms using their Android phone or tablet for data and IP connectivity. It can also use the RTMP and SRT protocols, which are ideal for more advanced users. The lightweight and compact design makes it ideal for both studio and on-the-move content creation, ensuring professional-grade results without bulky gear.

SeeMo 4K for Android allows for 4K H.264 recording directly to an Android device’s camera roll, making it easier than ever to share high-resolution content via social media, messaging apps, or email. This also provides a reliable backup option for primary footage and facilitates quick edits when time is critical. Footage can also be uploaded to professional media sharing services like Frame.io.

Users have the ability to select the audio source used for recording and streaming of video. They can choose to use the audio coming from the camera, or an audio source connected to the Android device, including its built-in microphone.

The SeeMo 4K for Android is powered by a single NP-F type battery that can also be used to charge the phone or tablet simultaneously. It also provides a handy 5V USB output to power smaller devices such as wireless microphone receivers.
