The Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Lite Zero-D FF is an ultra-wide-angle lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras. It features a wide 122° field of view and virtually zero distortion.

The original 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D was highly praised for its image quality. However, the new 12mm f/2.8 Lite Zero-D FF is claimed to offer improved sharpness and reduced chromatic aberration.

Laowa claims that it delivers sharp, clean images even in tight spaces. The lens is lightweight and compact, weighing just around 0.83 lb / 377g (AF Sony E mount). The lens now supports autofocus for Sony E and Nikon Z mounts. Unfortunately, the RF and L mount versions are only fully manual and offer no AF support.

The lens offers a close focusing distance of just 14cm (5.5 inches). I also has a built-in 72mm filter thread.
You can choose between a 5-blade aperture for 10-point sunstars or a 14-blade option for smooth bokeh. The 5-blade version is available for: AF Sony E, AF Nikon Z, MF Canon RF, and MF L mounts, and the 14-blade version is available for: MF Sony E, MF Canon RF, MF Nikon Z, and MF L mounts.
The Zero-D design is claimed to ensure minimal distortion, allowing you to capture scenes with true-to-life accuracy, without correction in post.

The Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Lite Zero-D FF is available in Canon RF, Sony E, Nikon Z, and L mount.
