Cinematographer Ksenia Sereda shot “The Last of Us” Season 2 with a new visual approach. She used the ARRI ALEXA 35 and customized Cooke S4X lenses to elevate the series’ visual storytelling.
Sereda talks about the key moments, her collaboration with Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin, and a lot more.
Ksenia Sereda used a personalized set of Cooke S4X lenses. Exclusively developed by ARRI Rental, Cooke S4X optics are variants of the classic S4s with enhanced bokeh, faster T-stops, and a new twist on the Cooke look. As the first DP to use the S4X lenses, Ksenia was given a special set engraved with the firefly logo in a vibrant pink of her choosing.
