At Cine Gear 2025, Prosup, a Dutch company, showcased its new Modular Tri-Plate system. This triangular plate can be used as a high hat base as well as a base for your tripod with a track and dolly.
Prosup is creating several add-ons for the Tri-Plate, including suction cups for mounting on cars, extender arms for attaching a tripod, and wheels for use with track. They also produce several different high hats.
The base is constructed from thick aircraft-grade aluminum and is surprisingly light yet solid.
They designed the system to be tooless for faster setups. The high hat is the only compnent that requires screws to fasten
Vocus is the distributor for Prosup in the US, and their products will be available soon. The price for the Tri-Plate is approximately €500.
