
SmallHD has released the PageOS 6.1.0 Firmware Update. While this isn’t a huge update, it does rectify a lot of bug issues that users were experiencing.
What is new in firmware version 6.1.0?
Improvements and Alterations:
- Simplified the customization process of User Function Dials on Quantum 32 monitors
- Renamed “Backlight” to “Luminance” to more accurately apply to all panel technologies
- Improved the “Lift” manual adjustments for post-calibration color control
- Added an explanation to the user after the monitor fails to load a custom No Signal icon
- Improved image clarity with color gradients
- Faster startup speed for on-camera monitors
Bugs Fixed:
- Settled an issue causing a white flash on startup of some monitors
- Squashed a bug found in the monitor’s Calibration > Manual Adjustment setting
- Fixed a problem displaying the 0 point of Histogram when displaying full range data
- Resolved a case where an OLED 22 would not properly power down when the input voltage dropped below the allowable minimum limit
- Fixed an occasional navigation issues when using Quantum 32 capacitive touch dials
- Resolved an issue causing a “haloing effect” on some Vision 17 monitors
- Resolved an issue of minor backlight flickering on some Vision 24 monitors

- This firmware is NOT compatible with the DSMC3 RED Touch, or Action 5
- RED Touch users have firmware available on the RED Touch tab
- This firmware is NOT compatible with legacy monitors (DP1, DP6, DP4, AC7, and DP7-PRO)
- If your firmware is below 3.6.5, we recommend the following upgrade path: 3.6.5 -> 4.8.7 -> 5.5.6 -> 6.0.0
