The Viltrox AF 25mm F1.7 Air lens is available in E-Mount, X-Mount and Z-Mount. It is being touted as a lightweight, and compact lens for APS-C camera users. It joins the previously released 35mm F1.7 Air, and 56mm F1.7 Air in the series.

The built-in stepping motor is claimed to provide fast and precise autofocus. The lens supports eye focus and face autofocus, for the wide range of compatible camera models. Users can also rotate the manual focus ring for direct setting of focus.
Optimized for video
The AF 25mm F1.7 can be used with compatible cameras in-body image stabilization. According to Viltrox, lens breathing has also been greatly minimized. It was designed and built with strong but lightweight materials.
Lens Design
The optical design of the lens consists of 12 lens elements in 10 groups, There are also 9 aperture blades. Viltrox states that with a carefully-optimized combination of low-dispersion, high-refractive and aspherical lenses the lens can produce excellent image quality in any conditions.
