IB/E Optics has expanded its RAPTOR Macro set with the inclusion of a 24mm T2.9. This lens now joins the existing 60mm t2.9, 100mm T2.9, 150mm T2.9, and 180mm T2.9.
The 24mm T2.9 was designed to deliver stunning, sharp images with vibrant colors, this lens features a wide aperture for gorgeous background blur and bokeh, perfect for drawing attention to your subject.
Key features
- T-Stop 2.9 for low-light performance and shallow depth of field.
- Maximum Magnification 1:1.7 for incredible close-up detail.
- Internal focusing for consistent lens length during operation.
- Extended color correction (APO) for stunning accuracy and clarity.
- Universal Mount System (UMS) with PL compatibility for versatility.
With so many cameras, such as the ARRI ALEXA LF, the RED Monstro, the SONY VENICE/VENICE 2, Panavision DXL 2, Blackmagic Design Ursa Cine 12K LF, etc. featuring large sensors, there is the need for more glass to cover them. Often, lenses with image circles of at least 50mm are necessary to cover the complete area. The IBE Optics RAPTOR macro lenses have a 1:1 magnification and they are designed with a special apochromatic (APO) lens element, for a better correction of chromatic and spherical aberrations.
Price & Availability
I don’t currently have any information on pricing and availability, but the other RAPTOR focal lengths retail for $14,514 USD each.
