MOVE’N SEE Pix4Team 2 Auto-Follow Camera

The MOVE’N SEE Pix4Team 2 Auto-Follow Camera allows users to capture a team sporting event live without a camera operator. Essentially it is a portable automated camera robot that you can use with a camcorder or phone to record and save videos.

It is compatible with all the major sports analytic software, and it can be integrated into a live sports broadcast. The robotic camera features a built-in camera with a CMOS sensor that captures 180° video of the field, and its application intelligence automatically follows the action on the field. It can be used to record the action onto an optional microSD card, or it can live stream via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

Designed for Team Sports

PIX4TEAM 2 natively embeds all the artificial intelligences needed to film your sport: Soccer, basketball, ice/field/rink hockey, American football, handball, futsal, lacrosse, rugby, volleyball.

Automation without a Camera Operator

You can mount a smartphone, tablet, or camera on the top of the Pix4Team 2 and it can also capture the same view, with the same robotic movements. You can also connect the included LANC Multi cable to a compatible Sony or Canon camera to control the zoom of the camera as it moves. The camera can also connect to the Pix4Team 2 via HDMI to record onto the internal SD card.

You can playbackVideo playback from any TV, computer, tablet, or smartphone connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PIX4TEAM 2. Immediately after a sports session or at half-time a coach can view the footage without having to physically access the robot.

According to the company, the tracking system is more more reliable than image recognition. It is claimed that the robot can’t lose you even if there are several people in the action area and that is has no problems with colors or shapes of the tracked subject.

Sensor

The MOVE’N SEE Pix4Team 2 Auto-Follow Camera utilizes a rather small 1/2.5″-Type CMOS with 5.1 Megapixels and it can only record in HD. There is an HDMI output but it isn’t specified what that is capable of outputting.

Compatibility

The PIX4TEAM 2 is compatible with the optional paid video hosting and sharing platform cloud.movensee.com as well as the scoreboard and banner option. Share your video with targeted groups such as teams, parents, leagues, coaches, and officials.

Live Streaming

PIX4TEAM can live stream on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube, on Move’N See cloud, or on Solidsport or Champ’s. You can also stream on your own website with an RTMP link. A subscription is not required for streaming unless you are utilizing a paid service.

You can record standard video files on the memory card of your camera or smartphone or use the microSD card of the PIX4TEAM (.mp4 format), then import them into your usual video-analyzing software such as RugbySmarts, ONC, Wyscout, Hudl sportcode, Techfoot, Nac sports, Dartfish, and more. Optional Scoreboard and BannerAdd score, game time, and advertisement banners with your sponsors or logos to your videos and PIX4TEAM live streams with a paid scoreboard and banner service.
