SmallRig in collaboration with Brandon Li, has announced a Special Edition Mobile Cage kit for the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The Mobile Video Kit for iPhone 15 Pro Max Co-Design Edition was co-designed with Brandon Li, who is known for his minimalist travel shooting style.
The cade is made out of aluminum alloy and it supports MagSafe wireless charging. It also features plenty of options when it comes to mounting accessories.
There are ten 1/4”-20 threaded holes, and two cold shoe mounts.
The one-piece design and compact design allow for quick setup. The cage also uses SmallRig’s “One-Click” locking system to ensure the phone. As the cage features a hollowed design it gives users full access to the phone’s buttons.
SmallRig’s Quick Release Ecosystem also allows tool-free installation, so you can attach or remove the convertible side-to-top handles. There are also three locating holes on the body of the cage.
The Special Edition Mobile Cage kit includes a magnetic Variable Neutral Density filter that allows you to control exposure and lower shutter speeds.
In addition to the three lenses on the iPhone 15 Max Pro, the cage lets you attach M-Mount lenses (17mm/37mm threaded lenses and T-series lenses with optional backplates) and magnetic filters (VND, CPL, Star Cross, and ¼ Black Mist).
The kit includes the signed cage, two signed side handles (convertible to top handles), a wireless remote controller (up to 10m/32.8 ft range), and a 52mm magnetic VND (1 ~ 5 stops) filter. The cage is also available to purchase separately. I am not a big fan of signed products, but there will probably be Brandon Li fans and followers who will like it.
