Tilta has announced the Rear Operating Handle for RS3 Mini and the ARCA Phone Mounting Bracket. Both these accessories are targeted at gimbal users.
Rear Operating Handle for RS3 Mini
The Tilta Rear Operating Handle for RS3 Mini is a way to expand the functionality of the RS3 Mini without sacrificing the small form factor.
This Rear Handle features the same mechanical design as Tilta’s previous models, but now with even more emphasis on staying versatile and lightweight, weighing in at only 206 grams.
Similar to Tilta’s other Rear Handles, this accessory provides a convenient way to capture low-angle shots with greater flexibility and comfort than traditional setups would allow.
The custom RS3 Mini NATO Mount makes this handle incredibly secure and quick to install while the safety pin provides improved security and minimizes risk of the system becoming unintentionally disconnected.
The 360° Rotatable Handle makes the system easy to swivel and lock into a variety of positions, allowing users to find a configuration that is most comfortable for them.
The top of the handle features a Cold Shoe Receiver which allows you to mount an external monitor while the bracket itself features 1/4″-20 threads and an additional Cold Shoe Receiver.
The Tilta Rear Operating Handle for RS3 Mini retails for $35 USD and it is now available to pre-order.
Tilta ARCA Phone Mounting Bracket
The Tilta ARCA Phone Mounting Bracket is a lightweight smartphone mounting bracket that is designed for use with a gimbal or support system.
The bracket attaches to your smartphone via a universal clamp and utilizes an ARCA Quick Release Plate on the bottom which allows you to mount the system to ARCA-based gimbals like the DJI RS3 Mini. Now, please note that the Mounting Bracket uses DJI’s ARCA Standard so ARCA compatibility is not guaranteed.
The Cold Shoe Receiver on the top of this Mount Bracket allows you to mount small Cold Shoe based accessories like external microphones.
