Teradek has announced its new Ranger Micro and Ranger II wireless video transmission systems that feature 6GHz support (U-NII 5).
The average latency for RF-based wireless video transmission is 30.8ms, which may sound low, but the human eye can actually detect a delay as low as 13ms.

The Ranger series is claimed to be the only wireless video solution to achieve true zero-delay (<1ms) with visually lossless picture quality. With the addition of 6GHz support (U-NII 5), you also gain access to 12 newly-opened RF channels, which in theory, should allow you to operate without interference. The Ranger series can operate from 4.9GHz to 6.4GHz on licensed and unlicensed bands.

The delay from the TX to RX is claimed to be .001 seconds which makes
the Ranger series great option for IMAG and live event production.
While a lot of RF-based wireless video transmission systems can only send compressed HEVC and H.264 images, the Teradek Ranger II can send visually lossless 4K HDR with AES-256 encryption. there is also the ability to utilize Granular Frequency Control which allows you to make adjustments to the frequency of your signal in 5MHz increments.
