LG OLED G2 Series & New Computer Monitors

LG has announced its new OLED G2 series, which includes the first-ever 97″ OLED TV, at CES 2022. They also announced two new computer monitors.

The 97″ and 83″ G2 series features LG’s Gallery Design, which allows the TV to sit flush against the wall. The G2 series is powered by the α9 Gen 5 processor, which is claimed to produce a brighter image with enhanced heat dissipation and a more advanced algorithm over previous models.

42″ OLED

While TVs have continued to get bigger and bigger, a lot of people who live in smaller homes and apartments can’t have large screens. To deal with this LG has created the first-ever 42″ OLED which is part of the new C2 series. This C2 series will also be available in 48, 55, 65, 77, and 83″ sizes.

At CES 2022, LG also unveiled the 40″ UltraWide IPS Monitor with Thunderbolt and HDR10. It features a curved Nano IPS panel with WUHD 5K2K resolution and a wide color gamut. This monitor will retail for $1,996.99 USD.

The second monitor is the DualUp Ergo Monitor, which has a unique 16:18 aspect ratio with a Square Double QHD (2560 x 2880) resolution. This has been designed for users who need to multitask when the monitor is in portrait orientation. It comes with an ergonomic stand lets you clamp the monitor to the edge of your desk.
