Panasonic GH5s External ProRes RAW Recording now available

Panasonic GH5s external ProRes RAW recording is now available via the AtomOS Firmware 10.66 update. The RAW signal from the GH5s can now be captured on a Ninja V or Ninja V+.

Both the Ninja V and Ninja V+ are now capable of recording up to 4K DCI at up to 60p in ProRes RAW and 3.7K up to 60p anamorphic RAW.

The ProRes RAW files captured come with full metadata support in Final Cut Pro for White Balance and ISO slider adjustments.

Please note that you will also need to download the free firmware upgrade for the GH5s from the Panasonic website.
