Canon has announced that two of its most-loved EF lenses will now be available in RF mount. These lenses are the RF 50mm f/1.8 STM and RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM.
The Lenses
Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens – perfect for enthusiast photographers transitioning to the EOS R System, this versatile lens shoots everything from portraits to landscapes, day or night, achieving incredible image quality.
Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lens – the world’s shortest and lightest f/4 interchangeable lens in its focal range, this lens provides amateur and professional photographers with high-performance, flexibility and a compact design to suit a variety of genres from wildlife and sports to travel and portraiture.
Both lenses join the RF family, which already includes prime, zoom, telephoto and super telephoto lenses and extenders. The announcement of RF 50mm f/1.8 STM and RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM means that in 2020 alone, Canon has introduced 19 RF lenses.

The Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lens will retail for $1,599 USD and it should be shipping soon.
The Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM Lens retails for $199 USD and it will also be available soon.
