Nikon pulling out of NAB Due to COVID-19

Nikon is the first big-brand camera company to announce that it is not participating at NAB 2020 in Las Vegas. Daily, events all over the world are being cancelled or postponed. I’m sure more will follow when it comes to NAB 2020 exhibitors baring a complete cancel.

Today, California Gov. Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency after the first coronavirus death as well as 50 confirmed cases. With Nevada right next door we could see this virus move to the Las Vegas area soon.

As we continue to closely monitor and gauge the impact of COVID-19, Nikon Inc. and MRMC, a Nikon Group company, have made the decision not to participate in NAB 2020.
